Nikki Ross is an award-winning photographer, director and DP based in Ontario, Canada. She is known for creating warm, authentic, and visually captivating images that blend storytelling with a strong sense of style. Her work spans lifestyle, portrait, editorial, and commercial photography, with a particular talent for capturing real moments that feel both intimate and cinematic.
Nikki’s aesthetic is often described as nostalgic, playful, and emotionally charged—pulling from influences like vintage film, youth culture, natural light, and moody color palettes. Whether she’s shooting a dockside summer moment, in the studio with large commercial clients, or in New York for fashion campaigns, she brings a unique mix of direction and spontaneity to each frame.
Nikki spends time with her subjects — be they models, actors or real people — and gets to know them in order to capture their most genuine self in a single still image. Nikki is a sporty, quirky tom-boy at heart and that playful childlike energy shines through in her stills and motion.
